Dance Palace Thesis
The Dance Palace pulls the urban scape of St. Petersburgh through the building and to the river. The changes in elevation of the ground floor invite the public to occupy the space and enjoy the programs laid out within. The front of house draws the patrons up into the structure and becomes an informal performance of the audience The back of house is designed around an urban core to foster a collaboration among disciplines of theater and develop integrated performances.
